critical : Chassis Master Alarm: Temperature on PA-5050
We are intermittently receiving Chassis Master Alarm: Temperature on our core Firewall Master box.
Datacentre temperature seems to be cool since other devices into same rack is not getting affected. Kindly help

Hi There
According to your output all of your chips are running pretty hot!
Since you have a Tiger chip i'm assuming your platform is the PA-5000:
- Have you tried taking out the air filter to verify it is not obsructing air flow by accumlated dust? (put it back within 20 seconds or the thermal protection shutoff will kick in)
- The PA-5000 also ventilate side to side (as opposed to back to front), are the sides free from external obstructions (is it close to a wall, is the rack closed on the sides, is a server sitting next to it). air flow goes from right to left
- Is there perhaps another heat source closeby, like a server underneat the firewall that is running hot, or a server that is venting its hot air where the firewall is intaking it's fresh air?
Also make sure ofcourse that the datacenter is not too hot, it shouldn't be more than 40C
