Pan(w)achrome 0.8.0 Beta Open
I have just released the first beta drop of the major rework on the Chrome extension Pan(w)achrome. The release is not available on the Chrome Web Store but should be downloaded & installed manually (more about this later).
New features
New UI. Right now only dark mode is supported but light mode is in the works
Deep Dives. Deep Dives are dynamic dashboard that let you dive into specific aspects of the device.
CPU & Memory safety checks. If the device MP CPU or MP Memory are high, Pan(w)achrome will automatically stop polling the devices.
Support for new metrics. Global Protect, Long Running Sessions, ...
Improved support for PA7K. With support for large numbers (big integers) and dynamic dashboards, Pan(w)achrome is now able to better present the state of PA7Ks.
New way of adding devices. Devices can now be added directly inside the app without going thru the PAN-OS web login.

Installation
Sadly Chrome WebStore does not provide a good mechanism for beta programs. Installing the beta is a quite manual process:
Download the beta release (check the forum for the link to the latest beta)
Check the hash
Unzip the file in a dedicated directory
In Chrome, go to chrome://extensions
Enable Developer Mode and click on Load Unpacked Extension

Select the directory with the unzipped files
You should see the extension enabled

Suggestion: disable the old Pan(w)achrome version

I am running this in New Edge, so far so good. Will feed back if anything bad or good happens.
